We’re locals

At Lardana Expeditions, we’re much more than mountain guides: we’re inhabitants of the Pyrenees. Each of us has a story to tell, a personal connection with this place that makes us feel like we’re part of something far bigger. We live and breathe the mountains every day. They’re far more than a backdrop for outdoor sports, they’re our way of life.

We offer a unique experience: personalised, authentic and designed to make you feel like one of us. We stay away from the crowds and busy trails, choosing paths that will take you to places few people have been lucky enough to discover. The Pyrenees you won’t find in the travel guides!

Forget tourism, this is quite another story

At Lardana Expeditions, we believe true adventures start when you dive headfirst into the unknown. That’s why we don’t just offer experiences in the mountains, we offer full immersion in the Pyrenees and its culture. We want you to know what it is to live in this place, swap tales with its people, and explore paths (literal and metaphorical) few have trodden before you.

It’s not just about having an adventure that will leave you buzzing in the most physical sense of the word. It’s also about connecting with the essence of this land. From the sunset at Loriele to the sunrise at Tucarroya, every day in the Pyrenees tells a story. Every day is a treasure, and this is your open invitation to experience that with us.

Authenticity is our watchword

It’s really important to us that every experience be a genuine one.

We want you to feel like you’ve experienced something unique. Like you’ve explored a place where nature and culture come together in a way you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

We don’t just design trips, we create opportunities for you to be part of the Pyrenees, understand its story and experience its wild landscapes.

Fer País: our reason for being

We feel a deep admiration for the people who breathe life into the Pyrenees every day of the year. Shepherds, innkeepers, mountain guides, livestock farmers, cooks, foresters, craftspeople, producers. Thanks to the commitment they show to the land every single day, we can invite you to discover a Pyrenees that’s authentic, alive and deeply human.

That’s why all our trips are designed to encourage sustainable tourism which supports the local economy, and keeps the traditions, professions and essence of the Pyrenees alive.

Adventure startswith the unknown

Whether you’re a mountain pro or it’s your first time at these altitudes, on every one of our trips you’ll find impressive scenery, healthy doses of adventure and human connections you won’t forget for a long time to come. Stories that will help you understand where we come from and, hopefully, where you want to go. Because that’s the magic of the mountains.

If you’ve ever dreamed of disconnecting from the world and getting lost in a place of breathtaking beauty, where the elemental becomes so immense it makes you feel alive, then Lardana Expeditions is for you.

"Nature in the Pyrenees has an extreme poetry to it, a harmony of shapes, colours and contrasts I am yet to see anywhere else."
